Looking at South Africa, it has accomplished a great deal within its twenty years of democracy. Rising from a previously oppressive apartheid government regime, South Africa is one of many countries with an all inclusive constitution, a constitution that is not prejudice toward race, gender, sexuality, religion et cetera.

Diversity, engagement and a night filled with fun and festivities, the Afrika Frühlingsball 2014, made possible by Afrika Radio TV. But before this day lots of word seemed to have gone on around town about how this years ball might turn out and despite the fact that another similar event had taken place weeks before the Afrika Frühlingsball was still on track and had an amazing attendance.

They say charity begins at home, but for Prince Pallikunnel, the President of the Prosi Global Charity Foundation it seems to simply run through his veins. Prince Pallikunnel, alias "Mr.Prosi" has taken it upon himself to promote human welfare and social reform through his efforts in having established the Prosi Global Charity Foundation that assists the aiding of various needs in different parts of the world.

The objective of Mandela Day is to inspire individuals to take action to help change the world for the better and in doing so building a global movement for good.Its ultimate goal is to empower communities everywhere. "Take action, inspire Change, Make every Day a Mandela Day." We wish Nelson Mandela all the best in his recovery!

Why does South Africa commemorates this day? On April 27, 1994, the Republic of South Africa held its first democratic elections. The African National Congress (ANC), an important black organization formed to fight for the freedom and rights of all black citizens, won the election.

An array of colours filled the venue, with traditional African attire, music, dance and just the atmosphere brought about by the multicultural diversity was wonderful.
