Situated somewhere in the heart Slovenia deep in the mountains of Tolmin, Overjam 2015 in its truly natural surrounding was as they say blazing hot this year, sunny scorching weather, cool waters and music ringing in my head. Beautiful journey driving to the festival itself as Slovenia has so much to offer for the adventurous people. As for the music lovers Overjam certainly presented a wonderful line-up and atmosphere as they do it best.
On arrival things were already underway and the atmosphere immediately had the Africanlife team ready to start bring you the report on this awesome event. Overjam has been running for the past consecutive three years and the tremedous growth has been nothing but astounding, besides the venue the oraganisers and really put their hearts into making this event one that will forever be listed amongst the top events in Europe.
With a line-up of artists ranging from both local and international Overjam 2015 drew in audiences from around Europe, the site itself filled with campers, day visitors and a variation of nationalities, cultures and at best the music that unites us all. The likes of performing artist such as Capleton, Max Romeo, Hollie Cook, Baby Cham, Gentleman, Raphael and many more braced the stage with memorable performances that drove us all eccentric.
Throughout our stay the activities at the event catered for everyone who attended, be it that you enjoyed dub, or dancehall there was always something that your heart truly was content with and as for the perfect weather this year...yes perfect weather all was in place.
Well this certianly was a incredible year at Overjam 2015 and we hope that you enjoy our overview and interviews from the event.
Thank you to the organisers for having Africanlife, for your hospitality, its always such a pleasure sharing such amazing time with you all. We are definitely looking forward to the next event in 2016! Big Up Overjam!
