Another energy pack evening of Dancehall and the man behind the music Elephant man. Elephant Man a.k.a O'Neil Bryan from Jamaica visits Vienna and not forgetting this was his second time around. Many remember seeing him for the first time live on stage and this is something unforgettable.
Lets start off the with Viennese Massive this time around. The patriotism in a musical sense, simply unbelievable with the turn out of people. As for the venue it was packed to capacity and one need say no more about the energy and vibe from the massive. When this artist presence in Vienna was announced not long after tickets were sold out. Young and old loves of Dancehall all came out to see Elephant Man. Fyah fyah fyah…hot vibes!
The evening's line up had the massive at ease while waiting for the main act, Baba Sound and Dj Taff had had everyone at bay role good tunes warming the massive up for the energy explosion that was about to come. Jami Dread a local Dancehall artist opened for Elephant man, his another talent that is making its way to great heighs in Europe. Nuh Badda We Crew had some moves that made the audience join in dancing as they were apon stage before Elepphant Man took over the stage and crowd.
Elephant Man's name alone drew his audience and the Dancehall lovers this Sunday. When you talk energy, it sometimes seems so inhuman because this man just sets everything alight, with vibes, his energy alone is like a catalyst that you'd never be able of hold back dancing and just watching his performances is impossible.
O'Neil Bryan a.k.a Elephant Man (the Energy God) started his musical career as a member of the "Scare Dem Crew" later deciding to take on a career that would far exceed that with his group becoming a solo artist. His characterized his image with his brightly colored orange and yellow hair that distinguishes him from any other artist, with his low keyed voice.
Over the years Elephant man has worked many other artist including Twista, Wyclef Jean, Young BloodZ to name a few.
His performance here in Vienna was dynamite… an explosion of energy that the faint hearted would never manage. I suppose that is why the title of "Energy God". Elephant Man's interaction with the audience was incredible, everyone felt draw in and part of the show. It certainly was worth every penny's worth as he broke down the cost, as he splurged his energy out into the crowd.
His presence was surely needed in Vienna to waken the dampened Dancehall souls. Thank you to Rasheed and the Bunfire Squad for this would have never been possible, your team is doing an amazing job bring and keeping the Reggae and Dancehall culture alive in Vienna.
Many thanks to Elephant Man and his amazing team for passing through Vienna, on their European tour, it was an explosive evening. We look forward to seeing you again!
