25.05.2013, AKASAA Festival Wien, 14.-16.06.2013, Wienerberg, Vienna

This time no thoughts of concert rewinds, this time we're publishing something new on africanlife.eu. When visiting Vienna, make a  trip directly to the Wienerberg in the City of Vienna.

We're spent hours at the Wienerberg doing research on the Venue for the AKASAA Festival Wien. Yes this place is really great, you are located in the city and have easy access to public transport, it's also easy accessible by the car. There is a lot of public parking spaces and the best part is that The Wienerberg is really pure nature.

The Wienerberger during the 19th and 20th century  was one of Austria's biggest Quary. The Viennese government  then decided to make a natural resort of it.
Now a days you are able to find a variety of wild animals, plants and flowers there.

Of course the biggest highlight is the wonderful lake. It might not appear clean at the first but the water has a very good quality for those great hot summer days.  It is the perfect spot to chill around, for swimming and sports like jogging or cycling.

Take your time and make a picnic in this area and of course enjoy the AKASAA Festival Wien directly at the Wienerberg. The venue is just 8 walking minutes from the lake away. Enjoy the nature in the South of Vienna.
