Lady Saw a.k.a Marion Hall has come along way in this industry and and still doing her thing passionately. Lady Saw began performing at the 15, she has worked with other artists like herself including Beenie Man,Luciano, Dennis Brown, Bounty killer and Beres Hammond. "Underneath It All" with No Doubt reached number 3 on the US and sold over 3 million copies reaching triple platinum and won a Grammy Award for "Best Performance by a Duo or Group".

Nonetheless Lady Saw took the audience's energy levels to 0-100 in seconds at Reggae Jam. Singing older and more recent tracks that she had released. One track that caught my attention particularly was "No Less Than a Woman (Infertility)". Lady Saw's music varies from the hard core dancehall, to issues that all woman can relate to and these are some traits that we really appreciate about her. She really touched a deep part of my heart.

Austrian backing band House of Riddim was wicked as Lady Saw mentioned prior to her interview, that even though they had not rehearsed all went great, because these guys simply know how to jam. Big up to House of Riddim Band!

Interviewing Lady Saw was really a honor, she is such a humble and polite woman. Through our conversation I learnt that she shares her own experiences which  motivates others like myself through words of encouragement. One lesson I have walked away with from Lady Saw is that even when things seem unreachable, don't give up keep …keeping on. For its what you sow that you will reap at the end of the day.

Marion Hall you're an amazing woman!
