The opening of the event on the first day was great people were still streaming and even though the audience was not at its full capacity the the show went on.
The combination of artist from both Africa and Italy sharing a stage was great. Momar Gaye, Sista Namely, Sun Sooley, Roots Mani and the Overjam Riddim Band really put on a great show.
About Sista Namely
Sista Namely is an Italian based artist really has her own vibe and a female artist that really is a talented singer. She became apart of the Sardinia reggae scene in 2008 and has performed alongside African unite, Zion train and many others.
She is apart of the sound system called Isla Sound System. She has also released singles of her own.
About Momar Gaye
Momar Gaye was Born in Dakar (Senegal) in 1975, his talents range from singing, to playing percussion and dance. He started playing the "Djembe" percussion instrument of West Africa in 1995 and in 1997, he worked as a reggae "MC", hip-hop and dancehall in some of the most popular clubs in Dakar.
The year 2000 is when he then decide to make the move to Europe and that was when he formed the soundsystem "Isla" 2001 together with the veterans of the reggae scene in Sardinia (Luca De Vita).
His worked and collaborated with the group “Reggae Jam”. “On the road” was his debut album in 2006 and later releasing his second album “Santati” in 2010.
In 2011, he collaborated with the international Reggae artist Junior Kelly, together releasing the single “About Music”. His last single and music video is “Rise Up” was released April 2012.
Momar Gaye believes in his homeland, and sings against all forms of dictatorship. He uses his music as a weapon of transformation to keep the conscience awake of all young people that want change.

About Sun Sooley
Born on the 1st February 1973 in Dakar, Sun Sooley, name of art of Jules Souleymane Ba is a well-know artist to many. He became well known through dance in 1988 and was influenced by many. In the early nineties Sun began to express himself founding bands and performing in Dakar. He then joined Senegal's most famous Hip hop group in 1993 called the P. Froiss and together they were successful, with the group Jant-Bithey, they sold over 80 000 copies making the national record sale in the Hip hop category and reached their audience making them the most famous group in Senegal
In 1993 he joins one of the most famous senegalese hip-hop crew, the P. Froiss, but he reaches the national success with the group Jant-Bi with whom he got the national record of sales into the hip-hop music category in 1996, with over than 80.000 copies.
After having spent five successfull years with the Jant-Bi, Sun started his solo carreer and together with the late bass player Abdourahmane Wone, known also as "Countryman", form the band Akiboulane. The group succeed by composing the marginalized reggae in Senegal and produce a compilation with 12 artists from reggae to hip-hop.
In the 2003, Sun Sooley released his first reggae album “Siratikal Moustaqim” (The Straight Path”) and a video clip with the famous Baba Maal "Soukanayo."
In September 2005 he moved to France and started recording his second album also playing gigs in Paris and the south of France. 2008 he then moved to Milan in Italy and in February of 2010 his album was completed, his first international, “One Day Inna Babylon” album.
In Italy this album was deemed as one of the best reggae albums in 2010 . His tousr in both north and south Italy gagve him the opportunity to open shows for Capleton, Sizzla, Julian Marley, Israel Vibration, Max Romeo, Alpha Blondy and in the same year Sun Sooley was a finalist in the European Reggae Contest in Italy platting at Rototom Sunsplash Festival at the Lion Stage and at the Main Stage with Alpha Blondy in “Cocody Rock”.
Sun Sooley is considered to be a very conscious reggae artist and one of the up and coming african reggae artist most recognized in Europe and Africa.
