13.04.2013, Reigen, Vienna

Queens of Dancehall, came across with a completely different feel and atmosphere. More subtle and intimate as the ladies have a better sense of describing their ''thoughts and feelings'' in song.

Both local and international Jamaican based artist brought the crowd to life and braced the stage with their performances.

The artiste from Jamaica have their own distinctive way and vibe when it comes to dancehall that sets trends through out the world of reggae Dancehall music.

Tiana the Dancehall Dutches from Jamiaca seems to be making waves as she has received an award in January 2013, Tiana went up against Tifa, Lady Saw, Cecil and Ikaya in Africa's Homeboyz Radio Kingston 10 Awards and walked away with the Female Artiste of the Year title. She is featured on Verizon Wireless as 4 of her tracks are being featured as playback ringtones in the U.S.A

Etzia Sweden-based dancehall artist has a  very distinctive voice strong and charming as all other reviews say and I could not agree any less. Having remerged on the music scene I personally think she is a force to be reckoned with.

Supporting act Misstr8 seems to be making strides towards winning more fans over as she has been on the Viennese scene and represents ladies of dancehall music in Vienna.

The Dancehall Queen Valerie never seems to disappoint  with the Dancehall Queens shaking dem booties… I enjoyed every moment of it.

My criticism though, would go out to the organizers who bring artist into the country, to also focus on having more female artist come to Vienna.

Last but not least thank you to BunFireSquad and Dj's for another great event.
