14.03.2013, The Loft, Vienna

Even when its cold outside the fire keeps burning.
Wayne Marshall braced Vienna on the 14 of March 2013 at The Loft.
Bring life and warmth back to the Viennese massive.

Jami Dread performed a few songs on stage before Wayne Marsh came on. I must say that there is a lot of talent in this place. I always seem to encounter some kind of uniqueness every time I come across a local artist performing in Vienna. I really do the sound of Jami's voice.

Thanks to DJ Buju, Dj Ziggy, Dj Lion and a very special guest from Linz, Selectress Koko (Golden Crown Sound) keeping the audience alive was a breeze for these Dj's as everyone could not keep still enjoying the rhythms.

Finally Wayne Marshall came on stage….even though it felt like forever before he took stage, after the first minute he started to perform all was forgotten. His performance was very entertaining, I really loved the fact that he interacted with the audience. At one point he sang a song that was requested by someone on the audience. Wayne Marshall was someone I really did enjoyed seeing perform in Vienna. I hope that in future there really would be bigger crowd turn outs for such artist.

Look forward to seeing him a again, Wayne Marshall will also be releasing a new CD this year. Look forward to hearing it!

My wishes for future events:
Some clubs have good lighting equipment, but nobody uses it correctly. This time the poor artists had to look into blue floodlights for hours. I noticed a difference between South Africa and Austria. In the Viennese clubs the technical engineers or promoters don't take much care about good show-lighting and sound.

With better lighting at clubs the mood and effects could create a great feel and take away the grunge style making the venue feel more vibrant and welcoming.
