MTV has set aside a star studded cast for their Africa All Stars tour which hits up the electric Nairobi air on April 5.
Kenyan hot shots STL, Camp Mulla, P-Unit. Kanja and Madtraxx will be teamed up with house singer and producer DJ Tira and Big Nuz from South Africa.
The concert at the Tree House promises to be as energetic as they come, thanks to the youthful exuberance and aggressive talent that will be on display.
"MTV Africa All Stars brought to you by The KwaZulu-Natal Province", is the official name of the gig, which has spread across the continent in a music and youth empowerment campaign that salutes the star quality and widespread appeal of contemporary African musicians.
A statement from MTV Africa says that the drive is intended to provide exposure to the continent's hottest musical innovators and pacesetters.
Hosted jointly by MTV Base and the KwaZulu-Natal Province, MTV Africa All Stars also aims to raise the international profile of KwaZulu-Natal as a premier destination for tourism and economic development.
Speaking on behalf of MTV Base, Alex Okosi, Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa commented; "Through engaging live events, television specials and digital activations, MTV Africa All Stars offers a range of diverse platforms through which music fans can connect with and experience the extraordinary talent, variety and craftsmanship of the continent's most exciting contemporary musicians."
