Ghana have moved one place up in the latest edition of the FIFA World ranking for the month of June released on Thursday. The Black Stars now occupy the 21st position in the world, one place up from the previous rankings last month after gaining fourteen more points to tally to 887 points.
The latest points build-up places Ghana just above former World Champions Brazil who have 15 points less. However, the Black Stars’ ranking on the continent remains unchanged. Kwesi Appiah’s team are still ranked second on the African continent behind Ivory Coast with Mali in third place.
There was no change within the top four from last month’s as World champions, Spain remain tops with Germany second followed by Argentina and Croatia.
