The first #FunMastersPicnic of the year takes place on the 26 September 2015 at Braamfischerville Cricket Oval.

With a kickoff to a series of picnics to follow, it is also the beginning of a media partnership with #TraceUrban that will give great mileage to the FunMasters brand and also assist in the brand's growth also opening up platforms and opportunities which would've somewhat taken longer without this partnership. Thank you to Trace Urban for realising upcoming talent and supporting the movement.

It's an exciting time of the year!  #FunMasters popularity stems from hosting picnics during the warmer days of the year.  They are one of the biggest movements in #Soweto and they deliver the best entertainment making sure they cater for the masses.

As September is #HeritageMonth, FunMasters saw it fit to celebrate #kwaito a music genre that was born and bred in #SouthAfrica. #Thebe and #Brickz are 2 of the musicians that are part of the pioneers of kwaito and they are  scheduled to perform at the picnic.

One of the attributes that FunMasters prides themselves with, is that they always give a platform to up and coming DJs to showcase their talent and get the opportunity to share a stage with some of the best and experienced DJs locally. They (FunMasters) have also given an opportunity to female DJs who are part of the lineup. The industry is very male dominated and it is difficult for female djs to enter and be at par with their male counterparts. It is movements such as FunMasters that create that opportunity for such talent.

"We are excited and looking forward to seeing all our patrons old and new coming to have a great outdoor party that we so meticulously plan for them," said Razor of FunMasters."
