The African Queen Contest will be held at the Reigen, Hadikgasse 62, 1140 Vienna, from 22 clock on the 14/02/2014.
The all to often used, cliche "Who is the fairest of them all?" merely begins to represent what the AFRO QUEEN CONTEST is all about, our objective is to bring about awareness to the audience and give them a better understanding of what an integrated, multi-cultured, radiant and exotic landscape Austria has to offer in its communities.
The entertainment on this evening will be staged by award winning Pianist JOHN NTSEPE from South Africa , MELISA pianist and singer, DJANE COUNTESSA, DJ DILLY BOY, DJ BLACKSTAR and the moderator MS LAUREN.
This will also be a platform shared by the DESIGNER MANDE MASA, who will showcase his flair of African Designs, through the AFRO QUEEN CONTEST 2014.
Our Jury for the event will inlucde the following, HER EXCELLENCY, MRS. OYUGI (First Lady to His Excellency, Mr. OYUGI, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya), BAHATI VENUS (Celebrity, Singer), PEDRO ANTONIO MÜLLER (CEO of the MODEL AGENCY, FLAIR MODELMANAGMENT).
The pageant is hosted by the Africanlife/Schmetterling Association, which is is a non-profit organization. All proceeds from the event will be used aiding charitable projects in the field of culture, sport, refugee and immigration. We would like to continue assisting and investing in these various projects through sponsorship, donations and all other fees raised through the event.
2014 marks the inaugural AFRO QUEEN CONTEST and we would like to continually run the event annually, around Valentines day.

die Misswahl mit dem Namen „AFRO QUEEN CONTEST 2014“ für Österreich statt.
Neben den üblichen Klischee „Wer ist die schönste im ganzen Land?“ geht es beim AFRO QUEEN CONTEST 2014 um viel mehr, nämlich Ausstrahlung, Exotik, Kultur, Immigration und Völkerverständnis. Neben der Schönheit der Missen wird ausserdem die Schönheit des afrikanischen Fashiondesigns der breiten Öffentlichkeit präsentiert.
Für musikalische und tänzerische Unterhaltung sorgen der Awardsgewinner JOHN NTSEPE aus Südafrika am Klavier, MELISA mit sanften Klavier- und Gesangstönen, DJANE COUNTESSA, DJ DILLY BOY und DJ BLACKSTAR.
Durch das Programm führt Sie die Moderatorin, LAUREN.
Der AFRO QUEEN CONTEST 2014 stellt eine Plattform für afrikanisches Modedesign dar, welches durch den Designer MANDE MASA vertreten sein wird.
In der Jury vertreten sind unter anderem Ihre Exzellenz, Frau OYUGI, (Ehegattin, Seine Exzellenz Herr OYUGI, Botschafter der Republik Kenia), BAHATI VENUS (Celebrity, Sängerin), PEDRO ANTONIO MÜLLER (Inhaber der Modelagentur, FLAIR MODELMANAGMENT).
Ziel ist es, den AFRO QUEEN CONTEST 2014 als eine jährliche Institution am Wochenende des Valentinstags zu etablieren.
