21.11.2012, Chaya Fuera, Vienna
Wow, what an amazing atmosphere it was at Chaya Fuera. For A moment I’d even forgotten that I was so far away from home. The music had taken me down memory lane.
Insingizi, Vusi Mkhaya, Jeys Marabini and Frenzy foundation brought the stage to life. Different genres of music combined, that was amazing. I’ve had the opportunity to see Insingizi, performing and must say, that they captured the audience’s attention all the time. Their melodic voices keep the audience wanting to hear more.
Another sensational performer that graced Vienna with his presence was Jeys Marabini, he had the audience dancing right up to the end of the show. It had been the first time that I had seen this artist perform. His songs and voice really brought back a warm feeling of Africa.
The dancing was great, something new, the Austrians would take back home to practice. Indlamu dancing is a traditional Zulu Dance where men raising their legs stamping down to the ground to the beat of the music. Frenzy foundation also filled the atmosphere with a funky vibe that the audience really enjoyed.
All the artist came together and jammed together which made the show amazing. The show was a great success I would say, I will be looking forward to seeing it again next year.
